This book was very well written with a little suspense. Holly was concerned because Abram was missing and did not understand why he did not tell her.
The first story of this series set the theme for the fest of the series,. The author has gathered together a group of characters to help her to tell her story, I'm anxious to read the next story.
Really a good novel on the Amish way of live. The book is really nice and really understand the Amish way. The book is really good and easy to read.
Well the book was good but very short. When I spend money on a book I am wanting a book not just a few words on a few pages. I got the other book that comes after this but sure hope there is more to that one or I sure will not buy anymore of your books. What a big let down.
Abram goes back to the Englishers without any good bye or explanation. Hope has no idea why and, of course, she conjures thoughts of an Englisher girl, that he is leaving the community for good.
Then Abram' s cousin comes to work on the farm and in stead of wanting to know Mary, Hope's sister, he gives attention to Hope.
Tensions increase every where. A good first episode in this series and I would recommend reading it.
